A few weeks ago I invited a few women over for what I called "A Swim and A Prayer".  The idea was to come for fellowship and a swim ( I have a pool in my backyard) and then have "a light discussion about Jesus Christ and a time to share needs and pray with others about them." I was so touched by the response. It rained so there was no swimming, but still I had 10 women come. Some were avid church goers and some were not. Some believed admantly in Jesus Christ and some did not. But ...

Today I drove through a beautiful residential area in downtown Elmhurst, Illinois. The houses were huge. The lawns well groomed. All the garbage cans matched. Everything seemed perfect – like something you’d see in a magazine.
